Revelation 9: 2-3 and Jeff Cross’ America the Possessed

Rev 9: 2-3 says “And he opened the bottomless pit; and there
arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and
the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto
them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”

Figuratively, the locust-scorpions come up out of the
bottomless pit. The locust-scorpions are a group of players during
the Trumpet Judgments in Revelation 9. Saying they come up out of the bottomless pit is telling us in metaphoric language that they are people
influenced by demon spirits. They are possessed by demon
spirits,
and their tormenting of the third group of players in
Revelation 9 suggests that they are demon possessed. The serpents
who actually cause the third group to be killed are also demon
possessed.

But the religious faction, the serpents, the
Pharisee types when this comes to fulfillment, would not be able to cause the third group of
Christians
to be killed unless the government allowed it to happen and
carried
out the killing. I do not see how government would allow
religionists to cause Christians, seen as their enemies, to be
killed unless the government leaders were demon possessed also.
Revelation 9: 18 says “By these three was the third part of men
killed..” Again, this is phrased in metaphoric language which
can be interpreted to mean that the third will be caused to be
killed.

Jeff Cross did a broadcast on Christian Media Network recently
for a new series, Short Wave Wars.
His opening broadcast was called “America the Possessed.” I listened to it on November 14, 2007. Cross
quotes Jeremiah on the apostasy of the southern kingdom of Judah
and goes into more detail on the parallel of Nazi Germany. The
German people were led to ruin in the last weeks of the war by
their demon possessed government.

Cross has the missing link which would explain how Christian
leaders
who are like the Pharisees of Christ’s time could actually
carry out, with the help of a demon inspired government, the
execution of
Christians who disagree with the Pharisee types of the Church.
